The problems we face on a daily basis are that of our own devise. "One often meets his destiny on the road to avoid it.", as the saying goes. Honestly this year reminds me of how I felt in 2019/2020, as I had this grand plan in my head going into the year. Then it completely goes off the rails.

"Doesn't matter. There are only four rules you need to remember: make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails, throw away the plan."

I find myself barely scrapping by financially, no motivation to work on PolyInnovator, and overall just in a low state.

What am I doing... NOW? May 2022

When I moved out at the age of 19, one of my biggest wishes was to get my habits in order, and for the most part I think I did well. However over the years I have struggled with this or that, and even sometimes leading to burn out. I recently discovered the concept of rustout, which is an even deeper version, that must be avoided at all costs.

I think I have made some support net systems to prevent me from hitting burnout too bad, since my bad hit in 2017. Right now I am trying to stay moving, that is what I am doing... NOW. Literally doing SOMETHING each day, even if it is not fully related to my actual goals.

To some people that may seem like a trivial distraction, or perhaps even an excuse. Perhaps it is, for I don't know for sure. However I do know that I work in sprints, where some weeks I learn, and some weeks I create. Even rarer when I do both fully in a week or two.

I'm hitting my targets for learning for the most part. Listening to my audiobook everyday, and for the most part listening to podcasts everyday. Going for a walk when I do, for it is good for the mental health.

My exercise habits have been leveling up from what I can tell.

Not to mention I got my youtube watch later playlist down from 750 a couple months ago, all the way to less than 25 left. Mainly just videos I need to write about are left, or massive 3-5 hour videos/documentaries.

Quick shoutout to my friend Matt Lucas, as I am getting myself up and taking his journal course.

Between all of these learning modalities, I am pursuing a temporary Modegree of sorts, it is rather separated from my main learnings. However it is what I am most interested in right now. It also has gotten me to actually create some things too, this method got me to write that MASSIVE Kung Fu Panda post, even starting up a How to Train Your Dragon one as well. Making some video post blog responses, as well as sowing the seeds for other posts down the line.

In a bigger view #MACRO, What's Coming up

Look it is the same as it was back in the beginning of the year. Work on BeyondWords audio files, transcribe my interviews, repurpose said interviews, share gaming content (sowing the seeds for later phase of PolyInnovator Gaming), and most importantly I would say is releasing the Notion Templates.

I have a variety of things in the works, and I feel that it is moments like these that specialists think of generalists being lazy. For I am not technically doing anything RIGHT now. Meaning I'm not releasing hardly anything, beyond a blog post here and there.

However I have been working on things on the slow burner, behind the scenes, adding bits here and there to fully detail things all out. Not to mention these are all things I expect myself to get done, no matter how long it takes.

Even if people get impatient with me, even if I fail to do it in an adequate timeframe, or something like that. I will do it, especially if I say I will.
