What is Substack or Ghost even? Well they are blogging platforms, or what I used to make my websites. Many of you who are subscribed originally joined up when I was building out the Substack.

Why does it even matter, as what matters is what we are reading right? Well yes, that is true. I do think the overall experience might have been easier on Substack. However all of my other stuff is here on my main site. I had posted the same swimming posts to each, and while Substack was cool. There was a lot more I could offer here.

Why + Philosophy:

Writing is something that I have been doing since I was in high school even. I've always been a blogger. It is the only thing I've done for a decade like swimming. Both are my biggest strengths, and they go hand in hand.

While I haven't finished my book just yet, the bits and ideas that go into each of these swimming articles. They all help me think about writing about swimming.

Ghost CMS just happened to be easier for me to write in, and more capable.

How + Physics:

In this case the physics is how these emails get to you, and while both tools do just fine. Ghost allows me to create special paid posts more easily.

The PolyPRO membership, which you might've seen around this site, is my paid membership. It includes access to special mega posts, that are dense with knowledge/information. Including swimming stuff, or at least swimming posts planned. Perhaps even like mini-courses!

What + Psychology:

What truly matters is the idea that I am trying to convey to you, GETTING THROUGH to you.

Each post has a lesson to be learned, and it is my hope that they help you learn how to swim that much better.

Conclusion

In the end it doesn't matter where the posts are held. I just felt that everything should be unified under one roof.

Since my main site/brand is about being multidisciplinary, the swimming posts are just one arm of many. Others being self-education, gaming, knowledge management, and more. Perhaps something would peak your interest, so I encourage you to check out the rest of the site!

Disclaimer:

This is advice for people to level up their swimming, or perhaps get started in the first place. While you swim you should make sure you are doing so in a public facility with a lifeguard on duty for safety.
