Something I have been very passionate about since I started my goal of trying to create 100x content pieces a day; Is the idea of content repurposing. Taking one pillar piece of content, and then breaking it up into little bits.
I even wrote a 7000+ word blog post on the subject matter, of which many tools were shared on there. However I realized that a big ol' post like that isn't easy to digest, and maybe you are just here for the tools and resources. If you want a quicker list of tools on how to repurpose and make your omnichannel experience of your brand more cohesive, then look no further!
This post was inspired by the fact that I don't see one like it anywhere. I have done SO much digging into repurposing, even more than I really have to. The concept is simple: Take a piece of content morph it into a smaller chunk, and contextualize it for a certain platform. Do that however many times per platform and amount of posts you want.
After the initial publishing of this post I created a website to house all of the tools!
Overview of Repurposing and Why you should do it
The idea is to contextualize your content into new forms catered to various platforms. You can take one hour long video and chop it up into 60-100 pieces of microcontent.
I was inspired by Gary Vee's quote of course, of which I have mentioned on this blog far too many times.

Why is that important? Think of it like an octopus, each tentacle for an Octo has it's own brain. Just like each platform has it's own feel, vibe, mindset, and culture. Meaning each arm of your company has to think differently on how to interact with each place.
Each big piece of content can't work on Instagram or FB, or Twitter, etc. However you can send out a quote image, an audiogram, or a video meme, etc.

These aren't particularly set in any order, but just what flows best for this post. However I do try to save the best for last, so keep that in mind. Again order isn't indicative, but don't jump on the first one you see.

Just like the last tool, it is more of a creating tool than repurposing. Although some people use it to repurpose their blogs into videos. I think if you do that right, with a solid voiceover, or even use your own voice via text to speech, then it could be truly amazing.

One of my favorite up and comers, and has been greatly adding more and more features. I have yet to play with it nearly enough. I have highly considering switching my editing process to here, although that would require changing recording tools.
I hear about this tool from everyone all the time, so it is making waves.
Content Repurposing Services
Unlike many of the tools here on this list I have NOT used these services. So my sharing of them is purely for resource value, and my opinions are null for them. Except by any means of content I have seen by them, or have interacted with members of their company (in some cases I have).
Repurpose House
Was recommended to me by a friend, although I don't know much about them. I see them the least amount across the board. Not on shows, or big names talking about them in the space, at least for now. If you work there feel free to reach out, I'd love to chat.
Contentfy
Chopcast (formerly Tribetactics)
I had the chance to interview the cofounder of the company on the Polycast, and he is a terrific guy. The information he can spill out on the stuff is super interesting, and they even wrote a book on creating your own "Original Series", which leads into repurposing it. Planning from the get go on how it can be repurposed.
Content 10X
One of the few content repurposing professionals I have yet had the chance to interview. The company specializes in taking content and creating 10X from it. Hence the name!
Top Four Tools:
These are tools I have either used, dug heavily into, and/or spoken with the founders/and staff directly. Given my proclivity towards being a power user, and often breaking the limits of things. There are a lot of things I usually ask about right off the bat, such as does size of file matter, length of file, how many platforms do you support, what kind of content do you make, etc.

This one is starting to branch out and work more similarly to Crossclip in the style of grabbing/highlighting a portion of the screen for the output.

3rd Place | Chopcast (formerly Tribetactics)
I have not used this one yet, but I am curious to see how it works out. If it can handle my needs. They have been going through a rebranding, and restructuring of the site. Seems like it has not been for naught, as it all looks up and going well.
It is one of the most versatile tools on this list, besides maybe the #1 tool, but I would not be surprised if this one keeps on the rise.
2nd Place | BeyondWords (formerly Speechkit.io) ⭐
I love this tool, the staff, and what it can do. It takes your blog posts, uses an artificial voice to do a voiceover, and that is it. However where it shines is the distribution, you can create a podcast from it, an Alexa Skill, and more.
They have even been testing out using your OWN voice for the voiceovers, however it does take thousands of lines of you speaking to do haha. Of which I am still working on myself. Check it out!!

These are tools that I wanted to make some space for in some way.
Steempress
Look this tool hasn't been updated in a while, and everyone moved off of Steemit for Hive.blog anyways... BUT ... the tool itself is interesting. Moreover the concept behind it.
Blockchain is a relatively new technology, really only being around for almost two decades, in the grand scheme not that long. Blockchain social networks like d.tube or Hive.blog have been around for even less. With the rise of web3 and decentralized platforms, finding a way to make a name for yourself there is a land grab like Facebook was in the early 2010's or even late 2000's.
Steempress was a plugin that allowed you to auto post your wordpress blog post to the steemit blockchain social network. Keep an eye out for more tools like this, and maybe for it to make a return I don't know.
Cronnit - Not really a repurpose tool but worth mentioning
Part of the motivation of this post is to share interesting tools, and NOWHERE have I seen this post mentioned. I think I found it ages ago via a single blog post, and yet scheduling posts to reddit is an amazing feature.

Another tool that isn't necessarily repurposing, but is a unique way of scheduling and sharing content.
Content Fries
I tried checking them out, and the tool seems quite interesting when it comes to speed of creating content. Such as how Canva is for graphics. There was some limitations to it, which came down to technical issues for longer posts from what I recall (Edit: It seems the length/size limit is now fixed!). My interviews being way too long or too big of size, at least at the time.
Quite a robust editor compared to other tools on this list!
REPURPOSE.IO
This one came across my radar a couple years ago, and has only gotten better. I was actually surprised how little people knew of it. Only a couple big names, at the time, used it such as John Lee Dumas and Doc Williams. However that was enough for me, and the content they made to showcase the tool as well really got me hyped.
I reached out to their messenger, and happened to get the founder himself, Hani Mourra, and he had a spare moment so he got on a call with me. Something I thought was really awesome of him to do, and we had a really awesome conversation about repurposing, and the tool itself.
Later I would get to have him on my show as well!
