Life is a River, Passion is the Boat.

TL:DR | Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my passion, and alas I couldn’t fight it even if I wanted to.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my passion, and alas I couldn’t fight it even if I wanted to. Some people ask me how do I find it, or tell me I don’t have it, and really that may be true. It is all relative to the person, and I happened to be dealt a hand early on. It has evolved over the years, and probably still will, but the point remains the same from a young age I knew what I wanted out of my life.

Darwin once said that it is not the strongest or the smartest that survive, it is the most adaptable. I have cultivated my life to be adaptable, and strive for change in all areas. I hope that with this post today it will spark something in you for your passion, as I can’t tell you what yours is, but perhaps hearing about mine will bring it to the surface.

Sometimes I ache or want to cry because of my passion, all because the overall emotional depth to the encompassing thought process that comes with it is so strong. I wish I could better put this in words, but I think it has to originate in the part of the brain where words aren’t articulated well. What I mean is the mentality by Simon Sinek: Start with Why. It is the base level of the brain, and so put it into words would not fully describe the vast depth of the situation.

As the title says Passion is life, your life, my life. Our lives revolve around something, it has to or our brains wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves. We would be scared and depressed because there was no “goal” in mind. This is why when people feel like they don’t have a goal or passion it feels empty.

"Passion Led Us Here"

The purpose of passion is to drive the brain into a forward mindset, getting each part of the brain working together in conjunction in order to better pursue that goal. Think about it the world doesn’t work together hardly ever on endeavors, but when it comes down to it we can create some amazing things together. Take the internet, the Space Race, Smartphones, and I foresee another one of those endeavors in the near future. We can do some great things when coming together!

My passion? Yeah well if you got to this point you realize I haven’t said a word about what it actually is, or how I plan to accomplish it.

My passion is learning, its innovation, and most of all it is making a change. There is a lot of people out there who say “I want to change the world”, and despite “passion” to do it, they have no idea in hell how to accomplish that goal. I have thought hard and long, and I realized that the most substantial change, and the one that would last longer is to change the people encompassing the world. Not the actual cities, and governments right away, which some people try to do. That won’t last, if it even gets done, but if you can change the people it changes the very way they live IN that city. Interact WITH that government, and most of all how they live IN the world.

For this my passion drove me to create the United Living Construct. A hub of innovation, and driven towards “World Unity through Self-Development”. Build up the people, they can build up the cities, and then we build up the world. Simple as that.

Edit: Now, since this post came out I have pivoted to the personal brand of PolyInnovator, and the PolyInnovator Construct Community. poly.tribe.so (please go check it out). The growth that I hope to achieve with a hub of Innovation; I hope will come from that platform!

A Construct of Ideas AND of People

I wake up everyday and immediately this comes to mind. It doesn’t matter how much or how little I work on that goal any particular day I feel like I have to spend every second on doing it. I itch to go to the keyboard where I am able to create this passion into real things.

All in the meanwhile I develop myself to be the person I see running this organization. Creating a path of growth for me (this evolved into the Modular Degree), and helping the people I can along the way. Reaching out to everyone because for me there is no other option. There is no plan b, and there surely isn’t any giving up. I have no doubt that I will accomplish this goal, and even I die I will come back and continue my work. There is no stopping it, mainly because the world desperately needs this sort of guidance in order to progress humanity as a whole.

The U.L.C. is meant to lead the world in innovation, just like Walt Disney’s original Epcot, Jacque Fresco’s The Venus Project, and even the commonly envisioned utopia. Yes some believe one cannot exist, but no one has truly tried to make it besides a handful of people in the world. Not to mention they all didn’t have the internet to communicate across the world easily and effectively. Jacque had to wait until the end of his life before being able to access it. This is an opportunity as a species that we cannot overlook!

I hope this sparked some sort of innovative mindset, new goals, and more importantly a blaze of passion! Go out there and #makeachange!

A Brand New Day

Even on a new day, literal years since I've even rather looked at this post. I am now going back and revamping it through this bit and others along the way. After reading through it I can still say I completely agree.

The fact that from a young age I was able to see so far ahead still amazes me. I've come so far, and I am hope to bring more and more people along with me. As Gary Vee says:

"I want to build the biggest building in town. Not by tearing all the others down, but by building the largest fucking building." - Gary Vaynerchuk

I am hoping that the PolyInnovator Construct doesn't take away from other groups like it, such as Polymath's Place that comes to mind. Rather it builds ALL of the other groups/tribes/communities at the same time of it's own growth.

The United Living Construct [U.L.C.]
The intention is to create a hub of innovation, and bring together innovators from all over the world. Creating the future of humanity, with the greatest minds alive. Learning like polymaths, and creating to the highest potential.
