TL;DR | This is an update of where my content is going, and what I'm planning (thinking). As well as, just an update on my life as well. I normally put this sort of stuff into my 🍃 NOW Page updates (and I did). However I thought it would be useful to have it all in one post for once, since there are a lot of things swirling.

From the lack of 👾 PolyPRO posts, to the inconsistent newsletters ( 🧮 The Polymath Wiki + 🔧 The PolyTools Digest), and even just in my own life.

First thing I'll note is that the 🏊 Mr. Dustin's Swim book is on hiatus again, BUT I am working on 💪 Polymathic Exercise book finally. As for the last month or so (since June 12th) I have worked out 45+ times (and got back on track physically). This being a huge deal, as I have been pretty off since covid time. No excuse, its just been the last half a decade where I haven't made a lot of physical progress. Even gaining some fat too.

I think roughly I was around 25% body fat when I started, and when I checked a few weeks ago (forgot to dexa scan when I started) I was 22% body fat. I can see a difference already in my obliques and in my face. My muscles are returning to their former glory too, which is probably what most of my progress this past month has lead to.

Post quarantine, i.e. 2021/2022, I was lifting heavier and stronger. However not as frequently as I should. Thus leading to greater strength, but a lack of caloric deficit. I am somewhat fasting now infrequently, but doing a lot less meals (with still a ton of protein intake). Making my body adapt very quickly, and I am combining my raw stronger strength I had before, with my decade long endurance strength I built up from 15-25 years old.

This has been motivating me to write more in my books, and I am trying to get back into writing more in general. This post wasn't on my list, and I'm not focusing too hard on the formatting either. Simply trying to get myself to put words to the press.

Allowing me to prep for a huge resurgence, and mini-blitz (like I did earlier this year) towards scheduling out a bunch of the two aforementioned newsletters.

I can't say what I have planned for PolyPRO unfortunately, although I have released the templates for the 🧠 PIOS Omni-Brain and 🎓 Self-Education - Modular Degree. Which if you're PolyPRO I will send to you for no extra charge.

Also I do have some written courses in mind to release, that will be in the PolyPRO section.

Computer Troubles

I recently moved just about two months ago or so, and that left me unfocused for a while. Especially while I was trying to get internet set up, that took weeks to get working unfortunately.

Then once I finally did get it working, I only had it for a couple weeks before I had to send in my main computer for repair/replacement. Between the outrageous fan speed, and the USB ports failing somewhat often. Particularly the ever important USB-C 4 ports, which were home to my cameras/capture card. My camera just stopped working altogether with that computer.

I'm running off of my old desktop now, which is at least capable, but it too was having similar fan issues and now even electric hum from the capacitors (almost concerning level kind of thing). However I can get my work done this way.

Thanks to my uncle I have an Intel NUC too, which held me over quite well before I realized I needed something just a bit more powerful. Still being able to use either though is a blessing.

In regards to my 🧠 PIOS Omni-Brain or knowledge management niche I have been working on some cool stuff.

I've been wanting to use the https://www.home-assistant.io/voice-pe to control my https://obsidian.md/ vault. I set up Home Assistant Operating System on my Intel Compute stick, which took some tinkering to get connected to the Wi-Fi (as there is no wired option). It does seem to be a viable set up, and if I play my cards right I might have a few PC's on my desktop at all times for streaming, Home Assistant, and JARVIS! haha

I have a bunch of planned posts in my obsidian vault for both of the newsletters mentioned. However I have a ton of drafts already, they're a bit more systematized, which I think some people would like. While others might find them repetitive, but the points are to finish a series.

  • PolyTools tool categories, which are posts sharing the top tools for each category.
  • Polymath Wiki highlighted videos, which are various creators from all over, that I found making videos on polymathy/generalist/multi's etc and I wanted to share the love for their content. While writing a small response myself too in the post.

Both of these series only have a certain amount planned, and then I'll tackle the posts in my vault, which like the older style I used to do.

So far right now I don't really have any plans for the swimming, PIOS, or gaming newsletters. As I can only have a few at a time right now on Ghost CMS at a time, and until I release the swimming book there is no point. I will however hopefully start streaming (been saying it for years but I really want to game more), and that will lead to more gaming content too.

The PIOS newsletter is different anyways, as it simply is just a method for me to send people the posts for new updates on the framework.

Personally I am feeling alot better now that I am working out again. I'm not motivated at all, but I am full of spite and passion. That I needed to do something again.

From various failed romantic endeavors, despite me trying, to the various lack of progress when it comes to content production. I felt really stagnant, and started getting to be a couch potato.

Now I can see my abs more again, and my arms getting bigger again. I also found out that longevity has a direct correlation to how strong your legs are, motivating me to make sure I do plenty of legs too!

Here is to the next chapter being far more successful. Even if it means I have to go ghost mode.
