Especially right now given how I have been making a lot of content, but still not enough to satisfy my own content goal/intentions. Perhaps this should be a quarterly/yearly series where I discuss what I am striving for at this point in my life! If you are interested in what a polymathic content creator is trying to achieve, then I encourage you to read on.
I just got done scheduling out 145 short form videos on my gaming profiles, and last weekend I did the same for my podcast clips with 2.6k short form videos.
Today I asked Gemini how many more weeks are there in the year? 15 weeks, which is a lot, but also not that much in the long run. Basically only one quarter left. Now I've tried to do a "goals database" in notion or obsidian, or even just try to put it as part of my note taking monthly/quarterly/yearly (which the latter seems to help a tiny bit). However it doesn't help if you don't get granular enough at the same time too.

Started posting my streams from Xbox to Twitch, over onto YouTube, and of course clipping them up too.

Thanks to my Substack I've also posting to the Content Polymath YT channel quite a lot, and I'll be doing more of a weekly cadence now going forward for a while.
A quick rundown on what channels are my priority:
- The Content Polymath - YT, Substack, and Podcast (all in one)
- Gaming Clips (have a bunch to repurpose still, and I want to do more)
- The Polymathy Newsletter (one of my main things I do, plenty of posts in list)
- Gaming Livestreams of obscure games (I'll explain in next section)
- The PolyTools newsletter (separate from the substack, here on Ghost)
- The Main PolyInnovator YT
- If I have time then I'd like to make some ai generated content to explain the advanced concepts for the United Living Construct too
What's next for all this?
To be honest I just wanted to write today, and this post is what I came up with. Trying to make sure I don't sound too egocentric, but this post was made for those who might be curious in how I am thinking. I make a lot of content, even when I don't think I am, and a lot of people would want to emulate that.
Trying to practice what I preach, and also at the same time document what I am doing for those who want to 10X their output.
I almost think a second "content blitz" is in order because this year I really wanted to get caught up on everything. What the last one did was get me months ahead on my production schedule, but not completing everything.
Even if I just do a mini blitz of sorts, that might be just enough. There are only 15 weeks after all in the rest of this year. Perhaps the three newsletters all get 15 scheduled posts ahead of time, then I can focus on continuing the newsletters over time, and on the gaming channel.
Especially since next month I am going to a couple of conferences
In the meantime for PolyInnovator Gaming
Something I am not doing enough of is actually playing video games. It is productive for me in multiple ways. For one it is literally one of the only few ways I personally decompress, which is something I need desperately.
It also an be productive as I can record while I'm playing, that does add a layer of work. Which defeats the decompression purpose, but I've been thinking about this for the last few years to be honest. I think it wouldn't matter if I recorded or not, on my happiness level at least, just might prevent me from doing it in the first place.
However I'm trying to make it easier for myself to do both.
The major thing I am excited for is actually that I have a variety of rare games, or rare fan projects that I can create content around that other channels wouldn't have access to. There's a kickstarter project I just got access to recently, that I doubt many people have backed that are also content creators too.
Additionally, I have things like the Oblivion PSP demo, or even some other demos that I can share.
In the end this all comes down to growth
I'm still in that mindset that I need to grow, and that is all I care about really right now. Every life goal I have, whether it is fitness or having a job, they all come second to my content. That is how important it is to me. I should note in this post that given it is about goals, that I have been achieving my workout goals and gaining muscle!
Now I need to get back on track with reading.
