You don't have to be a Polymath to come onto the Polymath PolyCast
I wanted to make this post because of all the people that I haven't talked to yet. Now over the years I've interviewed entrepreneurs who have to wear many hats, polymathic scientists, and many more.
I created the The Multidisciplinary Spectrum, as I wanted people to realize that they can level up to polymathy.
Which means if you're just a bit polymathic, or a Lot, then you'll be a good fit for the show!
What is the point of the show?
The solo side of things are like this newsletter, where I talk about being multidisciplinary. However the interviews are special. There aren't very many shows like it.
When you come onto the show, it gives you a platform to showcase your multiple skills and talents. I've been on nearly 80 shows myself at this point, and only like 4 of them was I able to really express the full range of myself.
I wanted to give that experience to other polymaths, or proto-polymaths.
How does someone know if they're a polymath?
This is something that is a bit debated on what constitutes one. However the main thing everyone can agree on is this:
3 or more areas of deep knowledge, with a deep intrinsic curiosity in life.
In my opinion even if you are only a jack of all trades or generalist level (i.e. a proto-polymath), then you still have a multidisciplinary journey worth hearing about.
Why you should come on!
My goal is to unite all the polymaths I can find, the various bubbles/tribes I've seen online, and overall create a construct of innovative polymaths.
The Polymath PolyCast is a great way for that network to build, and it would be great to hear from you. Some people think there is an ego with polymathy. I don't think so, as it is simply an expression of multi-faceted people.
Reach out to me if you think you're a good fit for the show!
