What to Expect from the Generalist Gamer
Unveiling the Developments from The Generalist Gamer
Hello, welcome to the new home, or rather old home again for the PolyInnovator Gaming site. With the newsletter The Generalist Gamer now being hosted here as well, this is a good thing. As it leads me more likely to make more gaming content. As with the old website, the context switching to a different platform sometimes kept me from remembering to make them.
I created this sub-brand to be a bit separate from PolyInnovator, as I didn't want there to be any confusion. However with the way this new design on the site works, I think it keeps things situated well.
The Blog topics are going to be more Broad
Going into this gaming endeavor I knew that there were a LOT of games I wanted to talk about and play. However what I show visually on the channel would be different than on here.
As sometimes I may get excited to write about a game from my childhood, that I have no intention (at least anytime soon) to make a video about.
Thus a lot of the posts here will be more multifaceted.
The Video topics are going to be more Specific
I'm toying with the idea of going a bit more hardware focused, as that is where a lot of the income is. Such as reviewing unique gaming products and controllers (I have a few lying around that are really interesting).
Mostly though it will be a range of games, starting with Pokemon (at least that is what I'm planning), and then maybe some RPG's.
Why you should sign up for the Gaming Newsletter!
Now I have a few newsletters on here, and you're more than welcome to pick just the gaming one. By signing up for any of them, then you become a free member. Which gives you access to some hidden posts, and sometimes cool deals for becoming a paid PolyPRO member too.
Which the paid members get access to exclusive paid posts, courses, and more.

My plan for the Channel Currently
I'm still pretty dedicated to streaming or at least making Pokemon content. I need to stream more, and I have a really cool idea to do it in my living room with Skyrim and a Kinect V2 as a webcam.
Thus I wonder if there would be a couple simultaneous games going on. Which complicates things more sure, but it also lets me have the freedom to play what I want. As I probably wouldn't be playing many games otherwise when I get more serious about the channel. At least for a while. Currently I'm replaying Octopath Traveler 2. If it wasn't so convenient playing that on the switch, then I'd be recording the gameplay.
I still want to record gameplay for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom at some point. Which would be a really couple games to garner an audience and shorts from.
See you when we drop!
Can't give a timeline to you right now, as I am still quite focused on the 🧮 Journey to Polymath newsletter, and my PolyTools channel.
However I am making this post for a reason. I even moved over all of the posts from the old site to here for a reason too, and I think it will lead to a lot more gaming content this year!
