In the world of LIVE content we have a wide range of platforms, tools, and philosophies. However I think there needs to be a louder voice screaming YOU SHOULD BE MULTISTREAMING.
To be frank I need to listen to myself more too!
There are a lot of potential opportunities that can come from LIVE content as opposed to pre-recorded. I really think that it will help out with growth as a new streamer.
The video above is a more holistic understanding, and specifically in 2026. The livestream video below is more all in one. However I get more granular about tools in other posts I have linked below!!

If you want to know what tool to use, then here is a post with EVERY single tool I could find.

Should you start multistreaming FIRST? No. I think that like with any skill there is a difference between the first stream, and being able to handle multiple outputs.
Do I think that you can do it early on? Sure. You just have to be able to manage a multi-chat, which is actually not that bad with modern tools. Additionally, being careful about mentioning other platforms while streaming, as to not anger the twitch or tiktok gods.
Start by doing 30 livestreams on one platform, get your bearings, and then try adding another one. Eventually get to the max platforms you are trying to go stream to.
If you have time or patience, maybe try streaming to each of them individually a few times to see how they operate.
Then from there use repurposing tools to take the streams into clips like OpusClip, or for more gaming stuff you can try Nexus or Crossclip.
All in all, streaming should be syndicated as much as possible. That is the same philosophy I have with content in general: going omnichannel.
