PolyInnovator and the United Living Construct

Mastery over one's self, is key to living a full and happy life. Hence the focus of Ikigai in the 🧠 PIOS Omni-Brain from PolyInnovator.

I created both of these brands as a means to accomplish certain things in my life. While the 🌐 United Living Construct is the magnum opus ultimate goal. Conversely, PolyInnovator is the path I created to get there.

Innovation is at the heart of both the personal brand, and the organization I tried to build. With Polymaths as the engine for either.

Why should you even care?

Why do we care about anything in life? It is because it directly impacts how we live day to day, and what most people forget about macro-level events. Is that they trickle down to micro-level problems or solutions.

In the big picture of things, the problems of the world DO impact our lives. Just the direct path isn't always directly seen. Meaning there are a few more steps in-between (ha, so sort of indirect in a way).

What happened to the 🌐 United Living Construct?

This was an endeavor I created back when I was still in high school even, and it was the kickstart fire that lead me into content creation originally. You can still read the blog posts here on the OmniBlog, and listen to the podcasts in the first season of the PolyCast. However I couldn't make much headway with this global effort, as a person who wasn't very global himself.

How could I reach the smart city designers, wicked problem innovators, and of course the Polymaths of the world. If I was stuck in some midwest town, with no outward voice (content mainly).

As I rebooted the U.L.C. in the late 2010's, I found myself struggling at certain skills. From communication, to global omnichannel content, and I wanted to become better for the sake of the U.L.C. Hence the Modular Degree.

How does a Personal Brand versus Organization Brand work?

While I stay true to the innovation focus of the U.L.C., through even the naming convention of the personal brand. I mean PolyInnovator literally came from the idea of merging Polymath and Innovation (particularly the Innovator word) together. This gives sort of an idea of what my intention is when you first hear it, then you ask "what are you innovating then?".

In which case I'll start with education, with the Modular Degree framework.

Next, would be how people of the world view generalists in the workforce (more so Polymaths especially).

Continuing that thought I'd also like to add the Multidisciplinary Spectrum, as people often group the multidisciplinary terms as synonyms. When in actuality they are not the same thing, and Polymathy is at the end of the spectrum.

The personal brand is ME, and I often state that I care more about my PolyInnovator name than my Dustin Miller name. Thus all of the content comes from a first person perspective, like this post, and that changes the dynamic. However in the organizational standpoint I had to write more 3rd person, and it would be more like "we should...". A difference that seems small, but can be a big difference in psychology perspectives.

Also the personal brand talks more on the micro, and how to grow from there. Versus the organizational brand talks more on the macro, and how to trickle from the big picture down.

How does PolyInnovator help?

It is my hope that I can help a lot of people identify themselves as polymaths, or pursue their own do it yourself education. Freeing them from the societal constraints that set limitations on what they THINK they can do.

How does the United Living Construct help?

It acts as a beacon of change for the world, and I sort of always envision it as a hub of innovation. Grouping together multidisciplinary polymaths, to engage the worlds toughest problems head on, akin to an incubator, but on a level never before seen.

In order to accomplish that, the hub needs to be that of a smart city, and one that is free from any particular country of origin.

What sparks change?

I always thought from the small to big scale. "World Unity Through Self-Development", was the catchphrase for the U.L.C.!

The thought process was simple, if someone improves themself, then more people could. Then the community as a whole would improve, then the city, then countries, the world. Bit by bit.

However I see that it is not something I can spur into action. Only motivate people to do, which is why I try to do that more so now on the PolyInnovator side of things. Showing people what they can do, how to do it, and trying to motivate when I can.

The PolyInnovator side of things induces the self-development, and the U.L.C. side of things focuses those people into greater endeavors.

What things need to happen in the world?

We're seeing terrible things occur, from the war in Ukraine, to the genocide in Gaza. Even a less traumatizing example would be the looming energy crisis, social divisions between nations, and much more.

💡
Just a side note, as at the time of this writing people are leaving the dying platform of Tiktok, to join up with a real Chinese app called "RedNote" in English. Which has unified the people of the US and the people of China in an unprecedented way. It has been beautiful to witness the cultural exchange.

All of these problems that we are facing, in both nation level, and global level. They effect us all, and we need to start making a change towards these problems yesterday.

World Unification and Global Civilization is the Goal

I see the whole thing as a trajectory, and I can't do it alone. I might have a lot of ideas, but even those aren't enough to solve a lot of the challenges. It is a group effort that is needed.

Let alone a global effort across the various nations, to come together, and make a change.
