Onward to a New Odyssey

A Look to the Past

As we venture onward to new challenges, ideas, and journeys we would like to take a moment to look back on where we came.

What the United Living Construct IS.

I made this site with one goal, to share knowledge in all its forms and to create a group of well-minded people. Together we can accomplish great and wonderful things in the world. We have a lot of strife in the world and I hope one day we can change that.

It is growing increasingly more apparent how separated, and corrupt our world has become. Not to say that there isn’t good people out there, in fact most people are good they just don’t show it. I have create the United Living Construct or U.L.C. for short to not only inspire people to be the best they can be, but to also unite us in a path of the future.

At the moment it is merely a social concept, a concept of creating a group of like-minded individuals. This group will lead the path of our planet’s future and go to great heights.

I truly believe in the potential, and I want to spark this in all people. Once this spark shines we can unite in life. We will construct a beacon of hope for the world to look to, and cultivate a way of life that would guide the very future of the human race as a whole.

Philosophy Thoughts

Life is a grand challenge, but we can achieve so much in such a short time. If we all work together our wonders can come true, no matter how big or daunting the project is or was. We are all important to the greater good of our beautiful world.

Hate and anger corrupts your well being in more ways than you might realize.

Don’t let anger cloud your judgement, forgive and move on to new opportunities.

The Dark Vs. Light

As I walked home I looked up at the sky and see a large, ominous, cloud lurking overhead. I thought “Dark times are ahead”, then I looked a little farther (below the cloud), and saw a clear and light sky. My point is no matter how dark the road may seem there always is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Couple of the most important quotes I have ever heard.
“Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it ‘The Present’.” — Eleanor Roosevelt or Oogway (From Kung Fu Panda)
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” — Dr. Seuss
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi

Knowledge is Power

They say knowledge is power, but is it? I believe that power is when you can use that knowledge for the greater good of mankind, rather than your own personal ideals.Greed is a poison that seeps its way into the mind and creates a delusion that is hard to vanish.

Philosophy is the Way of Life

When most people think of philosophy they think of abstract and controversial concepts. Which at the time of conception, they might have been. In our modern life we have come to terms with the fact that most philosophical ideas and dialogue are, at its core, common sense.

A lot of philosophical ideas are truly wonders of life, and should be treated as such. You can’t go about your life without it, or it is a life wasted.

The point stands to question why we even question the importance of philosophy to this day, but isn’t that the point of philosophy? To question it?

What Learning Everyday will do for You.

The hectic nature of our lives now, is partly due to technology, but also due to our ever-growing culture. We constantly crave knowledge (knowingly or not).

For years I have pondered on where the U.L.C. could go. The thought always came to the conclusion “We’re are going to talk about new age tech that will reinvent the way you live alongside our various philosophical posts.” That is what I decided on, for when I created this idea I wanted to cultivate new ideas (or rather ideas that were just forgotten) and create a community of which that was founded on these ideas.

The United Living Construct if you will. A construct that focuses on living together in a peaceful and “united” way. There is too much separation and segregation now, in our future holds great challenges and rewards. We MUST change the way we live NOW, or we will never get to see it.

A Portrait of the Future

Take a moment whether you’re at work or school, and take a deep breath.

Imagine this, there is a bright, vibrant blue sky.

Clouds are tucked away in different niches. There are people walking past you, smiling, waving. You are in a open city, the sky is quite the limit when it comes to your opportunities, but technology has allowed us to surpass even that. People are raised in an environment that fosters peace and innovation, so when they grow up they are still the happy individuals that they already were.

There is no crime, no violence, for there isn’t any reason to be. Everybody is fed, everybody is working, and everybody has a home to which they can customize to their liking due to new age technology. Education is cultivated not by strict systems but by getting the student to WANT to learn. Schooling starts at 4 years and goes to 21, but there is never a reason to stop learning. There would be a center where people of all ages could go and learn as much as they want about anything and everything. There would be a cafeteria where the entire city would go to eat, possibly at intervals. Students who had been learning history in school could go see their grandparents and ask them what they knew. People from different parts of the city could meet for the first time and create a unique bond.

Advanced Technology like you would see in Sci-Fi movies like Star Wars or Guardians of the Galaxy. The city would be just the right size that you could quite literally walk to the other side in about an hour. There would be of course some sort of transportation, but the beauty of it is there would be no need for vehicles like cars. Perhaps along the lines of a magnet train, or tube transport system. This city would be a beacon of innovation to the entire world, a utopia. This city would be the United Living Construct. This place runs as if it was our future. I hope it to be, for this is what I envision everyday of my life. Not a day goes by that I don’t visualize this glorious city-state. It would be a ray of hope and innovation for the entire world. We would cultivate bonds in people that would have instead tore countries apart. We would no longer be separated by the social concept of race. We would instead be together and united to pave way into the future.

How You Fit into the Future of Humanity

The Prelude of the United Living Construct

This blog in of itself is a humble start to something truly great and expansive. We hope to create a unique way of life that you can easily implement, yet it makes the world just so much better. Meaning YOU can change the world. This idea may seem radical at the moment, but over time it will just get easier and easier to live in general, and it will create sustainability. We as a planet desperately need change. Maybe a drastic one or maybe something simple, either way the point is there

We talk a lot about how the world needs peace, yet we do not discuss how we can achieve it.

The idea of paying it forward. You do a simple kindness (like paying for a stranger’s meal), and tell that person in return to spread the kindness to three other people. Eventually that can easily lead into the thousands of people.

How We as the U.L.C. are Going to Change the World

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” -Steve Jobs

This lovely yet eccentric quote captures exactly what we are. The people who although think outside the lines, are going to be the ones who change the entire world. #makeachange We are the generation that is going to color outside the lines and create a piece of art, competing with Van Gogh (metaphorically). The United Living Construct is, at the moment, a social community concept. That at its inception it is aimed to be far more, as the U.L.C. is bound to be a physical construct where people can live together in harmony and where innovation thrives (hence the “Construct” in the name). To get there we need to follow these rather simple steps:

1. We need to expand. One of the reasons this blog started was to spread the awareness of the U.L.C. so that each and every person can participate. Even if you simply contribute an idea, that very idea may be the cascading concept that gets us to the goal.

2. Once we are in the sights of the public sectors of the world, then we can move onto bigger endeavors. One of which is to continue our movement, for to make a change we need to spread the seed of compassion in every place possible.

3. Finally with step three we will start to change the way the infrastructure works, for the public will realize the path that we are on as a planet. If we don’t change we are destined to destroy ourselves. This being said there is plenty of opportunity to redeem. WE CAN and WE WILL.

The World Craves Change

Be that change!

Thank you for reading! Finally, thank you for being the person who you are, and here is to hoping we can temper the person you are into the person you will become!!
